When's a camel really a post?
* How many men does it take to measure through a mountain?
* Can you get a monkey to wash your hands?
*
Can you count a Golem towards a Minyan for prayer?
As a serious Orthodox Jew, I have spent a lot of time learning about my heritage, and that means that I have completed the "Six Orders of the Mishnah" (Shas Siduri Mishnah). The Mishnah is the written form of the "oral tradition" of the Torah.
It took a few years to finish, but was very rewarding, and in the process, I came across many interesting things, and this page is my attempt to share some of these with you. I hope that when you're finished here, you'll want to go away and learn the Mishnah for yourself... but find yourself a good teacher - sometimes it's harder than you might think!
But remember that you never really "finish" the Mishnah, because each time you come back to it, you'll discover some aspect that you didn't notice the time before.
Unlike my other websites, this one is actually quite "serious", but it's certainly going to be very curious, and, I hope, quite intriguing!
* By the way, all of the questions above are asked - and answered in the Mishnah. I hope to answer them here too!
