Description
The Rebbe is the most powerful piece in the Yeshivah. Al other pieces must stand respectfully when he enters the room, and do as he tells them. He decides all matters of Halachah. In Ashkenazi Yeshivot, the Rebbe is called a Rov, and wears a black hat rather than a fur Streimel. |
| Move
The Rebbe moves in a dignified manner, and is usually escorted by Talmidim who are asking him questions about the Gemarah they have been learning. The Rebbe captures hearts and minds by teaching in a wise and dignified manner. |
